It’s in the end of the XXth Century that a lot of French started to arrive in Miami. The Consulate General of France opened in 1986. Miami was then starting to become something more than “a beach”.

There is more than 40000 French living now in miami (46000 before the crises of covid) including 5000 French Jews (a lot of them are living between Aventura and Miami Beach). Plus 330 000 French tourists every year.

The community looks even larger because the borders are thin with the millions of Haitians and Canadians of Florida (who are also our readers). All of them are making a large, friendly and lively community.

Le Courrier des Amériques is since 2013 the partner of all the main business, cultural or social events ; the only media to tell their stories and an essential piece of the French speaking communities, as well with our newspaper, our website, our large Facebook pages and groups etc… We’re the only newspaper distributed to the French schools, associations etc… and to write article about them.
